For this project I chose to take the assignment literally and create a dream. My dreams are usually on the darker side and although I wouldn't call all of them nightmares, they are usually just uneasy. They usually involve flooding or water, so I chose to make the main landscape a waterfall flowing into a city street. I put a tree with a mouth in the water, because I also have dreams about trees falling or (the worst and most often) about my teeth crumbling and falling out. I also put my sister and boyfriend into the dream because a lot of times they play a role in dreams that I have. And at the bottom I placed a photo of myself asleep (my boyfriend's idea of teasing me came in handy for this project) to help show that the images above are meant to convey a dream. I also added a faded border around the edge of the dream of a night sky.
